<br />17162158.1 <br />“MGD” refers to an average flow rate of one million gallons per day over a specific time period, <br />often a year. For example, one MGD is equal to 365 million gallons per year or 1,120 acre feet <br />per year. <br />“Minimum Annual Purchase Quantity” means the minimum amount of water that a <br />Wholesale Customer that has an Individual Supply Guarantee agrees to purchase from San <br />Francisco annually, as specified in Attachment E, as may be amended from time to time <br />pursuant to Section 2.03.C. <br />“Mitigation, Monitoring and Reporting Program or “MMRP” refers to the CEQA required <br />program of mitigation and monitoring adopted by the SFPUC as part of Groundwater Storage <br />and Recovery Project approval in Resolution No. 14-0127. <br />“Net Annual Debt Service” refers to debt service less payments made from proceeds of <br />Indebtedness (e.g., capitalized interest), earnings on bond proceeds (e.g., reserve fund <br />earnings) used to pay Debt Service, and interest paid from renewed commercial paper, or from <br />reserve fund liquidation. <br />“New Assets” refers to Regional and Hetch Hetchy Water-Only and Water-Related capital <br />assets added to Regional Water System plant in service after June 30, 2009. <br />“New Regional Assets” refers to New Assets placed in service on or after July 1, 2009 that are <br />used and useful in delivering water to Wholesale Customers. The following four categories <br />comprise New Regional Assets: <br />1. Water Enterprise Regional Assets <br />2. Water Enterprise Direct Wholesale Assets <br />3. Hetch Hetchy Water Only Assets <br />4. Water-Related portion (45 percent) of Hetch Hetchy Joint Assets <br />“Participating Pumpers” refers to the Wholesale Customers pumping groundwater who are <br />parties to the Project Operating Agreement; specifically, the cities of Daly City and San Bruno <br />and the California Water Service Company, South San Francisco Service Area. <br />“Participating Pumper Replacement Water” refers to the quantity of Regional Water System <br />water that may be made available by the SFPUC to some or all of the Participating Pumpers in <br />accordance with Section 4.7 of the Project Operating Agreement.
