standards in the International Society of Automation, and will implement the manufacturer's <br />instructions for maintenance and calibration. The SFPUC will provide BA WSCA with advance <br />written notice of any such changes, together with a brief explanation of the reasons therefor and <br />a description of the type and location of the replacement. Such notice shall automatically amend <br />the list of meters, gauges, and recording devices set forth above in subsections (a), (b), (c), and <br />(d). <br />5. Recording of Water Flow Data <br />a. Flow Data <br />The City shall record and maintain data measuring base water flow throughout the <br />SFPUC Regional Water System as necessary to determine proportional annual water usage. <br />b. Reservoir Data <br />The SFPUC shall record and maintain data measuring the levels of the terminal <br />reservoirs described above in subsection A.3.b and shown on Figure 1 on an hourly basis. Flow <br />values derived from reservoir level readings for all reservoirs in the SFPUC wholesale system <br />shall be calculated using the tables contained in the SFPUC publication "Reservoir Data" (aka <br />"The Weir Book"), which set forth the relationship between reservoir levels and water volumes, <br />as such tables may be amended from time to time to reflect changes in the volumes of the various <br />reservoirs. The tables to be used initially shall be those from the current edition of The Weir <br />Book. <br />SECTION B. CALCULA TION OF PROPORTIONAL ANNUAL <br />USAGE <br />"Base rates" means the percentages of annual SFPUC deliveries attributed to the <br />Wholesale Customers and to City Retail Customers. <br />6 <br />March 11,2009
