June 9,2010 <br /> <br />RC 2020 Cabinet <br /> <br />Role: Oversees operational coordination of RC 2020 initiatives by providing supervision and <br />direction to the executive director, reviewing program data and making recommendations to <br />the Coordinating Council regarding policy, program and resource issues, identifying probl~ms <br />and developing suggestions for solutions, building and maintaining collaborative <br />relationships, assisting with development and monitoring of resources, and promoting <br />integration of efforts. <br /> <br />Membership: Each RC 2020 partner organization (one that contributes at least <br />$25,000/year to support the collaborative) is entitled to membership in the Cabinet. Typically, <br />the member will be the chief executive officer of the organization or serve at the senior <br />management level. <br /> <br />Structure: The Cabinet will annually select from its membership a Chair, who will be <br />responsible for leading the meetings of the Cabinet, serving as liaison with the Coordinating <br />Council, and working with the executive director to develop meeting agendas. This position will <br />rotate among partner organizations. The Cabinet will appoint a Personnel Subcommittee, which <br />includes the current chair, to provide support and supervision for the RC 2020 executive <br />director. <br /> <br />Meetings: The Cabinet will meet 6 times during the year, on the fourth Wednesday of <br />January, March, May, August, September, and November, from 9:00-10:30 AM at City Hall in <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />Meetings for 2009-2010 are: <br />.
