<br />Sl/J:C: yc: 1/20/81 <br /> <br />8782 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 2 6 1981 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF AUTO <br />CRANE AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of Chapter 2 <br /> <br />of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has solicited bids for <br /> <br />the furnishing of an auto crane to be used for municipal purposes; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SERVICE MANUFACTURING COMPANY, San Lorenzo, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to Service <br /> <br />Manufacturing Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Service Manufacturing Company, in the total <br /> <br />lump sum of Six Thousand~R Hundred~ 98/100 Dollars <br />, J9..{ 9fJ <br />($(!;', 712 .98-}, for the furnishing of an auto crane in accordance <br /> <br />with the specifications therefor on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement <br /> <br />with Service Manufacturing Company for the furnishing of the above <br /> <br />mentioned equipment in accordance with, and subject to, the terms <br /> <br />and conditions of the aforementioned specifications and in <br /> <br />accordance with the aforementioned bidder's proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8782 <br />
