REV: 06-09-2023 RL <br />Training Opportunities: <br />The City may at times offer a mechanic to assist in the inspections and to learn proper repair <br />techniques. Contractor agrees to work alongside and offer any side by side training the City <br />requests. In the event that a pump must be sent for repairs offsite, Contractor will encourage <br />City personnel to participate in the repair at its Stockton facility and will host City personnel <br />for training. <br />Deliverables: <br />Contractor will: <br />•Conduct annual inspections of the Flygt pumps, including the 21-Point Checklist. <br />•Complete a written report of all findings, results and work performed on each pump <br />upon completion of each annual inspection. The report will also include any <br />recommendations for further repair/replacement, any safety hazards encountered, <br />and any other issue that arises during the inspections. The written report should be <br />sent to the City's Wastewater and Storm Utilities Field Supervisor. <br />•Provide a written cost estimate for any unanticipated repairs, or replacements. <br />2. Fee <br />The City shall pay Contractor a flat fee of $82,685.00 per year for inspections and <br />preventative maintenance. This amount includes labor, expected parts, and equipment <br />required to perform the required tasks outlined in Section I "Annual Preventative <br />Maintenance". For Extra Work, the City shall pay Contractor on an hourly and parts unit <br />price basis not to exceed $90,000 per year. Fees for Extra Work will be based on the <br />actual hours and parts used per the Parts List delineated below. If any part necessary <br />for Extra Work is not listed in the chart below, the City shall pay a unit price that has <br />been pre-approved by the Wastewater and Storm Public Works Superintendent in <br />writing. <br />Total Inspections and Preventative Maintenance (5 years) $413,425.00 <br />Total Extra Work- as needed (5 years) $450,000.00 <br />5-year Contract Total Not-to-Exceed Amount $863,425.00 <br />Contractor shall submit detailed invoices after completion of any work.
