REV: 07-14-2023 RL <br />EXHIBIT B <br />Rules and Regulations <br />1. The dumping of wastes and food byproduct is illegal in storm drains, and is prohibited. <br />2. Outdoor cleaning of food service equipment shall be within the vendor’s self-contained <br />units as approved by the City. <br />3. Trash enclosure areas shall be designed to avoid run off into the storm drain system. <br />Trash generated from each event shall be removed daily and not left in City enclosures. <br />4. Wastewater from vehicle and equipment washing shall not be discharged into the storm <br />drain system. <br />5. Any and all Environmental Health Permits required by the County of San Mateo’s <br />Environmental Health Division shall be continuously maintained and observed throughout <br />the Term of the Agreement. <br />6. The Farmers’ Market Area must be cleaned and all garbage and trash removed. Vendor’s <br />and market equipment and property must be removed after each farmers’ market event. <br />7. The Traffic Control Plan shall be complied with at all times during farmers’ market events. <br />8. Event hours shall be clearly posted at all times during the farmers’ market events. <br />9. The use of City water without a permitted meter is prohibited. Meters may be obtained <br />through revenue services after leaving a deposit, and payment by Licensee for water used <br />is required. <br />10. A Redwood City or other governmental agency information booth may be permitted, but no <br />political activity shall take place at any farmers’ market event booths. <br />11. No amplified/loudspeaker or loud “hawking,” barking, or shouting to promote products is <br />allowed. Amplified music, either live or pre-recorded, is prohibited except as approved by <br />the City Manager or their designee in advance. <br />12. Animals are prohibited at the farmers’ market. <br />13. Licensee shall have market manager present and available at all farmers’ market events. <br />The name and contact information for the market manager shall be provided to the City <br />Manager or their designee. <br />14. Vendor fees and selection of vendors for participation in the market are at the discretion of <br />Licensee’s market manager. <br />15. Vendors and participants shall comply, and Licensee is responsible for ensuring that such <br />vendors and participants are in compliance, with (a) any and all requirements for <br />participating in a “Certified Farmers’ Market” (as such term is defined in Section 27512 of <br />the California Health and Safety Code and Article 6.5, Title 3 of the California <br />Administrative Code), (b) any and all Laws as defined in Section 7.a. of the Agreement, (c) <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.106/Redwood City Downtown Business Group (EPS Fees Audit and Reporting) (Page 15 of 16)
