<br />,-.. .- <br /> <br />--,"I <br /> <br />CGM:mf 1/8/81 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8778 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 1 2 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />WATER SAMPLING AND TESTING FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY; RETURNING SECURITY DEPOSITS; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR THE FURNISHING THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8734, adopted November <br /> <br />17, 1980, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />water sampling and testing for the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Scientific Cleaner and Laboratory, Mountain View, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Scientific Cleaner and Laboratory; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Scientific Cleaner and Laboratory in the <br /> <br />amount of One Thousand One Hundred Dollars and 34/100 ($1,100.34) <br /> <br />per month, in accordance with the bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />December 15, 1980, for the furnishing of water sampling and <br /> <br />testing for the City of Redwood City, in accordance with those <br /> <br />contract documents approved for the performance of said work, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 1/8/81) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and Scientific Cleaner <br /> <br />8778 <br />
