REV: 07-12-2023 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEES <br />On-Site Services will be provided in Redwood City and City Hall for a minimum of the <br />following: <br />On-site staffing at City Hall at least 20 hours per week for Plan Review <br />Services <br />On-site staffing at City Hall and in Redwood City for Field Inspection <br />Services <br />On-site staffing at City Hall for Permitting Services as requested by the City <br />1. Consultant shall provide thorough, accurate and professional services both On-Site <br />at the City of Redwood City offices and Off-Site as follows: <br />1.1 Plan Review Services. Consultant shall perform plan review services as <br />directed by the Project Administrator. All plan review services provided by <br />Consultant shall include the initial plan review and all subsequent re-reviews <br />as necessary for building permit issuance. <br />1.2 Building Inspection Services. Consultant shall perform building inspection <br />services for a specified number of hours as directed by the Project <br />Administrator. These services shall include review of all approved plans, <br />specifications and documents, review and respond to all inspection requests <br />and reports, attend mandatory meetings, including, but not limited to, safety <br />training, City staff coordination, applicant progress and project management <br />meetings, perform inspections for compliance to applicable State of <br />California Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire codes, as well as <br />State energy efficiency and accessibility standards as amended by the City <br />of Redwood City.  Consultant’s services may include a State of California <br />registered Fire Protection Engineer, to complete all Fire Code inspection <br />services requested by the City, or Certified Access Specialist (CASp) <br />certified inspections as directed by the City of Redwood Community <br />Development and Transportation Director, Chief Building Official or their <br />designee. <br />1.3 Permitting Services. Consultant shall perform permit process services for a <br />specified number of hours as directed by the Project <br />Administrator. Consultant shall assist architects, contractors, and the public <br />in accepting, processing, and tracking applications for building permits, <br />calculating and collecting permit fees, and providing General Plan and <br />Zoning information. These services include front counter and phone <br />assistance regarding building permit requirements, plan check fees, plan <br />check filing procedures and processing, and permit status, accept permit <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.174/TRB and Associates (TRB+ Professional Services) (Page 12 of 18)
