<br />... ,. <br /> <br />SWC:mf 12/26/80 <br /> <br />8774 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 5 1981 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />STREET SWEEPER AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8752, adopted December 8, <br /> <br />1980, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of a street <br /> <br />sweeper to be used for municipal services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />vIHEREAS, NIXON-EGLI EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC., Hayward, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Nixdn-Egli Equipment Company, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOvl, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOvlS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Nixon-Egli Equipment Company, Inc., in the <br /> <br />total lump sum of Forty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-nine <br /> <br />and 40/100 Dollars ($49,579.40), for the furnishing of a Street <br /> <br />Sweeper in accordance with the specifications therefor on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest re~ponsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with Nixon-Egli Equipment Company, Inc., for the <br /> <br />furnishing of the abbve mentioned equipment in accordance with, <br /> <br />and subject to, the terms and conditions of the aforementioned <br /> <br />specifications and in accordance with the aforementioned bidder's <br /> <br />proposal. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />8774 <br />
