Sec. 9.91 SECTION 203 OF THE HOUSING CODE AMENDED: Section 203 of <br />the Housing Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 203. The Building Inspector is hereby authorized and empowered to <br /> designate representatives of the San Mateo County Department of Health to act <br /> as representatives in investigating violations of, and enforcing any prevision of, <br /> the code relating to inadequate light, air, or sanitation facilities, or any other <br /> matter determined by the health officer as likely to cause a building to be <br /> unsanitary, unfit for human habitation or in such a condition that is likely to cause <br /> sickness or disease. When so designated, such representatives shall have the <br /> same powers and duties as the Building Inspector. All references in the code to <br /> the 'Health Officer' shall be construed to be references to representatives of the <br /> above-mentioned Department of Health. <br /> <br /> Sec. 9.92 CHAPTERS 11 THROUGH 16 OF THE HOUSING CODE DELETED: <br />Chapters 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 of the Housing Code are hereby deleted and shall <br />have no force and effect in the City. <br /> <br /> Secs. 9.93- 9.103. RESERVED." <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Article VI of Chapter 9 of the Redwood City Code is hereby added to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> "ARTICLE VI. MECHANICAL CODE <br /> <br /> Sec. 9.104 ADOPTION BY REFERENCE; CONFLICTING PROVISIONS: <br /> <br /> A. Pursuant to Section 50022.1, et seq., of the Government Code and <br /> Section 15 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the Uniform <br /> Mechanical Code, 2000 Edition, as published by the International <br /> Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials is hereby adopted and <br /> shall be in effect within the City of Redwood City to the same extent as if <br /> set out in full herein except as expressly amended by the provisions of this <br /> Article. <br /> <br /> B. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the Uniform <br /> Mechanical Code, 2000 Edition, hereinafter referred to as the Mechanical <br /> Code, and the provisions of this Chapter, the provisions of this Chapter <br /> shall apply. <br /> <br /> Sec. 9.105 SECTION 115.2 OF THE MECHANICAL CODE AMENDED: <br />Section 115.2 of the Mechanical Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 115.2. Permit Fees. Each applicant for a permit to do work regulated by <br /> this code shall pay to the Building Official for each permit at the time of issuance <br /> a fee established by resolution of the City Council. <br /> <br /> Secs. 9.106 - 9.116.
