In the event of any conflict between the provisions of the Uniform Building <br /> Code, 1997 Edition, hereinafter referred to as the Building Code, the <br /> Uniform Building Security Code and/or the Uniform Code for Building <br /> Conservation and the provisions of this Chapter, the provisions of this <br /> Chapter shall apply." <br /> <br /> Sec. 9.41. SECTION 107.2 OF THE BUILDING CODE AMENDED: Section <br />107.2 of the Building Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 107.2 Permit Fees and Valuation of Work. <br /> <br /> Section 107.2.1 Building Fees. The Building Official shall charge a fee to the <br /> person filing an application for such permit, such fee to be established by <br /> resolution of the Council. <br /> <br /> Section 107.2.2 Valuation of Work. The determination of value or valuation <br /> under any of the provisions of this code shall be made by the Building Official. <br /> The value to be used in computing the building permit and building plan review <br /> fees shall be the total value of all construction work for which the permit is issued <br /> as well as all finish work, painting, roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, air <br /> conditioning, elevators, fire extinguishing systems and any other permanent <br /> equipment. <br /> <br /> Section 107.2.3 Code Compliance Inspection. Applications submitted to the <br /> Building Division requesting inspection for the purpose of determining <br /> compliance with City Building, Housing, Plumbing, Electrical, and Mechanical <br /> Codes shall be accompanied by a nonrefundable fee for such service as <br /> established by resolution of the City Council. <br /> <br /> Sec. 9.43 SECTION 213 OF THE BUILDING CODE AMENDED: Section 213 of <br />the Building Code is hereby amended to add the following definition: <br /> <br /> Section 213 Light-Frame Construction.
