For example, emergency <br />food programs are essential to survival. Coordination of a volunteer program is an <br />improvement to the quality of life. <br />Description of Services to be Provided: <br />21 survivors of interpersonal violence (IPV) who reside in Redwood City will receive free, <br />pro per assistance with preparing and filing applications for temporary restraining orders. <br />Through virtual and/or in-person clinics, trauma-informed attorneys, advocates, or <br />supervised pro bono legal professionals will guide survivors through the application <br />process and procedures; offer safety planning; and provide a collection of resource <br />materials with information about local supports for IPV survivors. <br />27 survivors of interpersonal violence who reside in Redwood City will receive free, in- <br />depth legal assistance from attorneys, advocates, and/or supervised pro bono <br />professionals as clients of Bay Area Legal Aid. Clients will benefit from situation-specific <br />legal advice and counsel; brief services; and/or extended representation. To promote <br />clients’ safety, stability, and independence, wrap-around services may support legal <br />needs related to protective orders; family law; immigration; consumer rights; and access <br />to health care, affordable housing, and safety-net programs. <br />Primary Quantitative Objectives: <br />Domestic Violence Legal Safety Net Project will serve 48 Redwood City persons. <br /> <br />NOTE: Performance will be measured by program objectives and quantitative goals.
