REV: 04-10-2023 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant will support Redwood City Together fundraising, including grant prospecting, <br />proposal development and process management with the goal to secure at least One <br />Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) in new unrestricted funding and an additional <br />One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) in unrestricted or restricted funding by July <br />2023. <br />Consultant will perform the following tasks: <br /> New Discretionary Funding: Working independently, Consultant will prospect <br />for potential new discretionary funders (private foundations, corporate foundations & <br />family foundations) whose mission, funding priorities and history of giving are aligned <br />with Redwood City Together’s work. Consultant will prepare and/or edit Letters of Intent <br />(LOIs), proposals, and reports for foundation. Consultant will keep a calendar of <br />application deadlines and prepare and/or edit LOIs, proposals, and reports throughout <br />the year and communicate with leadership and staff to prepare proposals and reports. <br /> Pandemic Relief: In partnership with the City Manager of the City of Redwood <br />City and the Executive Director of Redwood City Together, Consultant will support <br />exploration of sources of federal funding for pandemic relief that align with Redwood <br />City Together’s mission and purpose. <br /> Other: Consultant will support other fundraising initiatives as needed, including <br />but not limited to letter writing campaigns, fundraising events, and corporate <br />sponsorships. <br />New Discretionary Funding target outcomes: <br /> Top 10 foundation prospects identified for possible funding by end of July 2023 <br /> At least 6 proposals/LOIs submitted by end of July 2023; <br /> At least 2 proposal funded by end of July 2023; <br />Pandemic Relief expected outcomes: <br /> Sources of funds evaluated and final determination will be made to develop a <br />proposal/proposals by end of July 2023 <br />Fee: <br />Consultant will be paid $125/hour.
