REV: 07-30-24 MI <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Task 9 – Bid Support and Construction Services for $5,700 Time & Materials <br />Consultant will review and provide written responses to City for shop drawings submittals, <br />deferred submittals with supporting calculations, and RFIs steaming from the additional <br />work areas added in bid alternates A & B. <br />Consultant will perform site visits as needed to gather information to prepare their <br />responses. <br />Task 10 – Geotechnical Field Support Services for $14,000 Time & Materials <br />Consultant (Wood Rodgers, Inc.) and geotechnical subconsultant (Haley & Aldrich) to <br />provide geotechnical support services during construction, including the following: <br />o Project management <br />o Review of contractor submittals for crushed rock and geotextile fabric materials <br />o Review and respond to contractor requests for information (RFIs) as requested by <br />the City’s project manager. <br />o Observations of subgrade conditions before crushed rock placement (4 half-day <br />visits). <br />o Observations of geotextile fabric placement (1-half day visit). <br />o Observations of crushed rock placement (2-full day visits) to confirm conformance <br />with the project plans and specifications. <br />o Preparation of daily field reports and a final construction observations letter. <br />o Deliverables: final observation letter with daily field reports appended. <br />List of key personnel <br />Anthony Johnson, Principal Structural Engineer, Wood Rodgers, Inc. <br />Ronaldo Longoria, Project Manager with Haley & Aldrich, Inc. <br />Elijah Zane, Technical Expect – Geotechnical Engineer with Haley & Aldrich, Inc. <br />Proposed Project Schedule <br />July of 2024 – Completion of Project (tentative completion by November of 2024). <br />FEES <br />City will pay to Consultant a not-to-exceed amount of Nineteen Thousand Seven Hundred and <br />Dollars ($19,700.00) for completion of all the work and services described above based on an <br />hourly rate. <br />Hourly rates for Task 9 shall be based on the rates identified in the Agreement. <br />Haley & Aldrich Hourly Rate <br />Please see the next page. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024/Amend.
