REV: 02-27-24 LF <br />switch, water temperature switch, elevator recall, elevator shunt trip, HV AC, AHU <br />or exhaust fan shutdown, door hold-open releasing devices, door unlocking, <br />fire/smoke dampers, and any other devices that may be connected to the fire alarm <br />panel. <br />Perform a charger and discharge test on the batteries to insure they are operating <br />properly. If replacement is needed, the Contractor shall quote out separately. <br />Familiarize City's designated personnel with the basic and proper operation of the <br />fire alarm panels. <br />Ensure there are no changes that affect equipment performance. Contractor shall <br />inspect for building modifications, occupancy changes, changes in environmental <br />conditions, device locations, physical obstructions, device orientation, physical <br />damage and degree of cleanliness. <br />Respond to fire and intrusion alarms immediately by the 24-hour central station <br />and follow the established protocols. Call outs shall be responded to within 30 <br />minutes in non-emergency situations. <br />Extra Work: <br />Contractor may provide any repairs, overhauls, or replacements of fire alarm <br />systems after inspections. Prior to performing any repairs, overhauls or <br />replacements, Contractor shall submit to City a detailed description of the work <br />determined to be necessary, together with a cost estimate for such work and parts; <br />and obtain written approval from the Facilities Supervisor prior to commencement <br />of work. <br />FEE <br />City shall pay Contractor for services per the fee schedule outlined below and, in an <br />amount, not-to-exceed Ninety-Eight Thousand dollars ($98,000) for fire and intrusion <br />alarm inspection and maintenance services. Invoices must be billed monthly with Net 30 <br />payment terms, in a form consistent with Section 6, Compensation. <br />Service Annual Price <br />Fire and Intrusion Alarm Monitoring Fee $14,400 <br />Fire Alarm Inspection and Testing Fee $16,000 <br />Total Not-to-Exceed Service Per Year $30,400 <br />Service Term Price <br />Extra Work Not-to-Exceed Amount for Two Years $37,200 <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.019/Norcal Alarm, Inc.
