<br />,5) <br /> <br />, '1 <br />I () 1..~.J <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1063 <br /> <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF SPECIAL MUNICIPAL <br />BOND ELECTION HELD ON MAY 8, 1951. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City, <br />by Ordinance No. 667, duly called and ordered held in said <br />City a special municipal bond election on the 8th day of <br />May, 1951, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified <br /> <br />voters and electors thereof the measures hereinafter set <br /> <br />forth; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that said special municipal bond <br /> <br /> <br />election was duly beld upon due notice in accordance with law <br /> <br /> <br />and with said call on said date aforesaid, and that the polls <br /> <br /> <br />for said election were kept open during the time required by <br /> <br /> <br />law, and that said election was held and conducted, and the <br /> <br />votes thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof <br /> <br />ascertained, determined and declared, all as provided by the <br /> <br /> <br />laws of the State of California, and by said Ordinance, and <br /> <br /> <br />this Council has duly met and canvassed the returns of said <br /> <br />election, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED <br />AND DECLARED by the council of the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />be, and is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />minutes of this Council as a statement of the result of said <br /> <br />election. <br /> <br />2. That the whole number of votes east in said City <br />a t said special municipal bond election was 2659 votes. <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />ballots were spoiled and not counted. <br /> <br />1 <br />
