REV: 03-08-24 VR <br />participants ($165 for additional groups of 30), and Seed Ball workshops an <br />additional $400 for 30 participants ($165 for additional groups of 30). <br />Consultant will be paid on a quarterly basis, subject to invoicing consistent with <br />Section 6, Compensation. <br />Additional terms: <br />City employees, volunteers, patrons, or other associated personnel will make reasonable <br />efforts not to come within 20 feet of the beehives without a representative of Consultant <br />or the Library Director being present. If City maintenance, repairs, or other services need <br />to be performed near the hives, City shall provide 72 hours’ notice via email or phone to <br />Consultant so arrangements can be made to ensure the safety of the personnel involved <br />as well as the honeybees. In the case of emergencies requiring immediate attention by <br />maintenance personnel, Consultant agrees to provide a beekeeper with less than 72 <br />hours’ notice. The foregoing notwithstanding and without limiting the generality of Section <br />5 of the Agreement, City may take any actions it deems necessary in case of emergency <br />or to protect the health and safety of any person without consulting or providing notice to <br />Consultant and without liability to Consultant. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.031/Kendal's Bees LLC (Page 12 of 12)
