REV: 04-19-24 VR <br /> <br />Provide tenant landlord workshops and/or presentations to better educate the <br />public on the current rules and information in tenant landlord relations. <br /> <br />Reporting: Consultant will provide quarterly and annual reports to the City for <br />the two years of the pilot program. Reports will include the following <br />information: <br /> <br />o Information regarding the type of caller/client (e.g., landlord, property <br />manager, Tenant) <br />o Information regarding the type of dispute will be collected <br />o The number of intake and referral calls will be tabulated <br />o The number of callers educated and counseled will be totaled <br />o The number of cases conciliated will be collected, along with the <br />outcome <br />o The number of formal mediations and the resolution reached will be <br />collected. <br />o Information on which zip codes cases originate from <br />o information on the property type (e.g. single-family, ADU, duplex- <br />fourplex, large apartment) <br /> <br />In addition to offering tenant/landlord information and referral, education and counseling <br />dispute resolution services, the Redwood City Dispute Resolution Project (RWC - DRP) <br />will provide social services support to encourage successful resolution to conflicts when <br />mental or behavioral health conditions are present. The social services advocate will <br />support those with mental or physical disabilities to promote trust building and clear <br />communication in the dispute resolution process. <br />Optional: There is a potential need for additional on-call workshops, which <br />could be requested by the City Manager, at their sole discretion, at a cost of <br />$200 per additional on-call workshop, with a maximum of up to 6 additional on- <br />call workshops. <br />[Page intentionally left blank] <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.052/Project Sentinel (Redwood City Dispute Resolution Pilot Project) (Page 12 of 14)
