11/09/2009 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14981 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY ACCEPTING GRANT OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS FROM <br />BELMONT REDWOOD SHORES SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, the Belmont Redwood Shores School District (the "District ") has <br />constructed a school at 225 Shearwater Parkway; and <br />WHEREAS, the District wishes to allow the City to operate and maintain storm <br />drainage dewatering structures along the new school's frontage; and <br />WHEREAS, the District has dedicated two public service easements within the <br />school's frontage for this purpose, within the Area H parcel subdivided in July 2008 by <br />Keech Properties, LLC, as identified and depicted in the Easement Location Map <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein; and <br />WHEREAS, said grant deed for the two public service easements, on file and <br />made available at the City Clerk's Office, have been reviewed by staff and found to be <br />in conformance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1 . The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are <br />incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />Section 2. That the City Council hereby accepts the aforementioned grant <br />deed of the public street/utility easements, and the City Manager or his designee is <br />authorized to certify acceptance and file the grant deed for recordation. <br />Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect upon its adoption. <br />Section 4.
