Learn why this is important
Good morning Redwood City Council Members,

I am writing to support the staff recommendations at today’s council meeting relating to the
exemption of small additions (Attached Table 1). RWC Staff is recommending exemptions
for: “additions above the ground floor that are 100 square feet or less; including enclosures
of existing balconies, decks, or staircases that meet development standards; uncovered
balconies, decks and staircases, window changes, including new windows, and
architectural features such as cornices, eaves, bay windows, canopies, fireplaces,
chimneys as further described in Article 32.3E.”

I support this and I further support continued efforts to streamline and reduce the permitting
process for small residential projects in the building and planning departments.

Thank you.

Bryan Jacobs
Principal Partner
RealSmart Properties
DRE#01129660

Phone: 650-363-2808
Mobile: 650-642-8915
Email:bryan@realsmartgroup.com

50 Edgewood Road
Redwood City, CA 94062

www.realsmartproperties.com
