2 <br />ATTACHMENT 1: BAWSCA WATERWISE / OUTDOOR WATERWISE / LIVINGWISE <br />EDUCATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />This Program is implemented as a turn-key program through a contract between BAWSCA and AMCGAM <br />Conservation Group, Inc. The Program involves the distribution of water and/or energy conservation <br />curriculum to 5th grade teachers and individual home water and/or energy audit kits to the 5th grade students. <br />The WaterWise, Outdoor WaterWise, and LivingWise kits enable the students to perform a water and/or <br />energy audit in their homes or yards and to install water-saving and energy-saving devices on select fixtures <br />(e.g., showerheads or garden hose spray nozzles). As part of this Program, AMCG provides a water and <br />energy conservation curriculum that can be easily implemented by teachers, easily understood and <br />implemented in the home by students, and includes methods to quantify the water and energy savings as <br />a result of taking the actions described in the curriculum. <br /> <br />The WaterWise, Outdoor WaterWise, and LivingWise Program includes: <br /> Coordination and distribution of BAWSCA-supplied in-classroom and per-participant incentives <br />(described below), as appropriate; <br /> Teacher Guide and Classroom Curriculum; <br /> Classroom Enrollment Services; <br /> Program Monitoring, Support and Tracking Services; and <br /> Program Reporting (Program Summary Report). <br /> <br />The Indoor WaterWise Kits contain: <br /> High-efficiency Showerhead (1.75 G.P.M.) <br /> Kitchen Aerator (1.5 G.P.M.) <br /> Bathroom Aerator (1.0 G.P.M.) <br /> Digital Thermometer <br /> Toilet Leak Detector Tablets <br /> Teflon Tape <br /> Miniature Tape Measure <br /> Rain / Drip Gauge <br /> Shower Timer <br /> Natural Resource Facts Slide Chart <br /> Flow Rate Test Bag <br /> BAWSCA-supplied information materials, including: <br />o Postcard advertising the High-Efficiency Toilet Program; <br />o Postcard advertising the High-Efficiency Washing Machine Rebate Program; <br />o Postcard advertising the Landscape Education Classes; <br />o Postcard advertising the Lawn Be Gone! Program; and <br />o Postcard advertising the Waterwise Gardening On-Line Resource. <br /> <br /> <br />The Outdoor WaterWise Kits contain: <br /> Garden Hose Spray Nozzle <br /> Male and Female End Garden Hose Replacement <br /> Soil Moisture Meter <br /> TORO Female Precision 180° Nozzle <br /> TORO Female Precision 90°Nozzle <br /> TORO Male Precision 180° Nozzle <br /> TORO Male Precision 90° Nozzle <br /> Rain / Drip Gauge <br /> Natural Resource Facts Slide Chart <br /> Flow Rate Test Bag <br /> BAWSCA-supplied information materials, including: <br />o Postcard advertising the High-Efficiency Toilet Program;
