ATTY/RESO.0057/PC RESO 413 ALDEN STREET
REV: 08-09-22 JB
Page 3 of 3

The applicant has complied with the recommendation of the architectural historian
by providing a subtle change in texture and material, proposing an addition clad
with stucco finish and color matching to the existing structure. As proposed the
addition is secondary and compatible to the existing structure as well as the historic
district. Additionally, the site consists of trees, landscaping and fencing which help
to minimize the proposed addition’s visual impact. Therefore, staff finds that the
project does not adversely affect the character of the district. No other changes
are proposed to the exterior of the existing home.

C. In the case of construction of a new improvement, building, or
structure upon a historic site, the exterior of such improvements will not
adversely affect and will be compatible with the external appearance of
existing designated improvements, buildings, and structures on said site.

Not applicable, the property is not designated a historic site.

4. The Planning Commission approves the Project (PERMIT NO. AP2022-009)
subject to the Conditional of Approval set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto.

5. This Resolution is effective upon its adoption.

* * *
