Also, the Transit Center itself and major destinations within DTPP <br />area are encouraged to provide high-quality bicycle facilities for people who bike to downtown or <br />within downtown. Amenities such as high-quality and secure bike parking, connected bicycle <br />facilities, and wayfinding signage are examples of such facilities. <br />In addition, transportation choices, such as shuttles and shared bikes or scooters, modern <br />streetcars are envisioned as a means of convenient circulation within Downtown, as well as a way <br />to connect Downtown and the Caltrain station Transit Center to adjacent districts and transit hubs. <br />Sec. 1.2.2 REVITALIZATION STRATEGIES <br /> <br />B) Focused Strategies <br /> <br />10. Collaborate with Caltrain, the High Speed Rail Authority, SamTrans and other stakeholders <br />to encourage more frequent transit service in the Downtown and create aesthetically appealing, <br />efficient, and easy-to-use pedestrian, bicycle, shuttles, rideshare, and bike and scooter-share <br />connections better integrate the railroad into Downtown.
