The cost estimate is based on the levee repair recommendations
provided by Mr. Jeff Fippin from ENGEO Inc. Our approach will be to isolate the breech from the tidal influence
from the bay by installing a water filled dam on the outboard and inboard side to the breach. The breach will be
dewatered, and the CMP pipe removed if still present. The side slopes will be laid back 2 to 1 in a bench
configuration and fill placed in lifts as specified and compacted. The source of backfill has been secured and
approved by Mr. Fippin. It is our intention to use about 60 ft of the right lane on Bridge Parkway as an area to
stage backfill. The area will be delineated with plastic water filled K rails. Trench plates will be placed on the
road surface to protect the asphalt and BMP will be implemented to prevent any sediment migration into storm
drains. The cost breakdown is as follows:

Mobilization: $ 54,541
Cofferdam Installation: $ 270,360
Dewatering and Excavation: $ 46,837
Engineered Backfill $ 180,996
Trail Restoration: $ 79,855
Demobilization: $ 29,331
Total $661,920

If you have any questions or comments regarding the proposal, please contact me at your earliest convenience.
We are prepared to start next week if we can come to an agreement.

Thank you.

Mark A. Sutton, V.P.

Dixon Marine Services, Inc.
