If the inspection identifies any <br />violations of law or other non-compliance issues, then Consultant will prepare a <br />notice to comply as an included part of the report. <br />All travel costs associated with the inspection <br />All phone, email and other communications involved in preparing for, scheduling <br />and coordinating the inspections and providing the report. <br />Scheduling of Audits and Inspections <br />City will provide Consultant with a list of all permitted cannabis businesses and will inform <br />Consultant when a new cannabis business receives permission to operate (i.e., through <br />the issuance of a development agreement, conditional use permit, certificate of <br />occupancy or other indication the business has opened). Consultant will then work with <br />the City to schedule semiannual compliance inspections and annual financial audits. <br />Consultant will coordinate with the City as to the time for each inspection and audit <br />approaches. <br />Objective 3: Supplemental Background Checks <br />Consultant is qualified to and shall provide background checks as needed of all owners, <br />principals, managers and employees of cannabis businesses. Consultant’s background <br />checks supplement and expand upon the State-required Live Scan information to identify <br />other factors that the City considers per its Municipal Code and cannabis regulations. <br />Consultant’s search includes up to 5 variations on the subject’s name and will alert if <br />additional aliases are found which might warrant further investigation. Consultant shall <br />also provide, as needed, Consultant-designed employee identification badge with the City <br />logo, which meets all State regulatory requirements. <br />Objective 4: Cannabis Business Permit Renewal Application Evaluations <br />Consultant shall review and evaluate all applications for annual cannabis business permit <br />renewals. The City shall notify Consultant upon receipt of an application for a cannabis <br />business permit renewal and shall forward all renewal application materials. Consultant’s <br />reviewers shall evaluate whether the application is complete and provides all necessary <br />and requested information as defined in the Redwood City Municipal Code (RCMC) <br />Section 32.161(B). Evaluations shall identify any missing information or areas of concern. <br />Applications that meet the criteria in RCMC Section 32.161(B) will be recommended to <br />the Assistant City Manager for renewal of the Cannabis Business Permit.
