This practice has been in
place for multiple decades as agencies have come to rely on the high-quality service and expertise the City
provides.
Existing policy authorizes the City Manager to execute Entrepreneurial Contracts of up to and including
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) per agreement per year with public and private entities where
the City is providing a service and where the provision of such services is consistent with a practice of the
City generating a profit or generating revenue to support existing staff without otherwise diminishing
services provided internally or to the public.
Per policy, as soon as practical after June 30 and December 31 of each year, the City Manager shall submit
a report to the City Council that provides a description and amount of each agreement that the City
Manager has executed in the preceding six months.
6.R. - Page 1 of 3
610
