The Enterprise currently receives recycled water from Silicon Valley <br />Clean Water (the “SVCW”), formerly the South Bayside System Authority. The recycled water the <br />Enterprise receives from SVCW is suitable for non-potable uses such as landscape and <br />agricultural irrigation and industrial applications. In Fiscal Year 2022-23, deliveries of recycled <br />water from the SVCW totaled 547 acre feet, or approximately 6.3% of the Enterprise’s total water <br />supply. The City’s recycled water system is being implemented in two phases (the “Recycled <br />Water Project”). Phase 1 of the Recycled Water Project included the design and construction of <br />facilities to serve customers east of Highway 101 in Redwood Shores and the Greater Bayfront <br />Area and was completed in 2010. Phase 2 of the Recycled Water Project is underway and is <br />planned to expand the recycled water service area west of Highway 101 to the downtown area of <br />the City. In addition, the City has commenced work on a Recycled Water Master Plan that it <br />anticipates completing in Fiscal Year 2024-25. <br />Tables 1 and 2 below shows water supplies and water demand for the Enterprise for the <br />five most recent fiscal years. Table 1 shows the City’s ISG of 12,243 AFY under the WSA and the <br />City’s water surplus or deficit based solely on the assured water supply.
