<br />A-1 <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />COMPONENTS OF THE PROJECT <br /> <br /> <br />The Project consists of (i) the construction of certain distribution facilities to the Redwood <br />Shores area for the City’s Recycled Water Project, (b) retrofitting certain irrigation systems, (c) <br />the installation of certain artificial surfaces for athletic fields in the City, and (d) system-wide <br />repair and replacement of Enterprise facilities, to the extent financed by the proceeds of an <br />Installment Purchase Contract, dated as of February 1, 2005 (the "2005 Installment Purchase <br />Contract") between the City and the Authority and the related $35,790,000 initial principal <br />amount City of Redwood City Public Financing Authority Water Revenue Bonds, Series 2005A <br />(the “2005 Bonds”). <br /> <br />The Project further consists of Phase 1 of the City’s Recycled Water Project refinanced <br />by the proceeds of the 2005 Installment Purchase Contract, including: <br /> <br />(i) the City’s interests in improvements to the existing wastewater treatment facilities <br />owned and operated by Silicon Valley Clean Water (“SVCW”),, <br /> <br />(ii) the construction of a disinfection facility (chlorine contact chamber) located at the site <br />of the SVCW treatment facility, <br /> <br />(iii) the construction of storage and pumping facilities located at the site of the SVCW <br />treatment facility, and <br /> <br /> (iv) the installation of certain artificial surfaces for athletic fields in the City. <br />8.A. - Page 200 of 255 <br />828
