DEFINITION: <br /> <br />[Insert in between definition for “MASTER SERVICES AGREEMENT” and definition for <br />“PROFESSIONAL SERVICES”] <br /> <br />ON-CALL CONSTRUCTION WORK: Where construction work and performance are <br />determined by issuing work orders during a fixed period of time, for specific kinds of work <br />(e.g., street repair, structural painting), and with a maximum total contract price. <br /> <br />Section 6. Section 2.63.5 of Chapter 2, Article VII of the Redwood City Municipal <br />Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 2.63.5. DETERMINATION OF LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE <br />BIDDER: <br /> <br />The City shall award contracts required for public works projects and goods and services <br />to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. <br /> <br />A. A responsive bidder will have submitted a bid that conform in all material <br />respects to requirements of the bid documents. In determining the lowest responsible <br />bidder, the following factors may be considered in addition to price: <br /> <br />1A. The ability, capacity and skill of the bidder to perform the contract or provide <br />the service required. <br /> <br />2B. The character, integrity, reputation, judgment, experience and efficiency of <br />the bidder. <br /> <br />3C. The quality of performance of previous contracts or services for the City or <br />other contracting parties. <br /> <br />4D. The previous and existing compliance by the bidder with the laws and <br />ordinances relating to a contract or service. <br /> <br />5E. The sufficiency of the financial resources and ability of the bidder to perform <br />the contract or provide the services. <br /> <br />6F. The ability of the bidder to provide future maintenance and service for the <br />use of the subject of the contract. <br /> <br />7G. Schedule and ability to meet the City's time constraints. <br /> <br />8H. Any other criteria appropriate for the type of contract to be awarded. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6.I. - Page 5 of 8 <br />113
