6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> 6.A. Tentative Agreement between the City of Redwood City <br /> and the San Mateo County Firefighters International <br /> Association of Firefighters Local 2400 (IAFF), and amendments <br /> to the City of Redwood City's Classification and Wage and Salary <br />Plan to update the salary range for classifications represented by <br />IAFF, and for the Fire Fighter Trainee classification <br />Recommendation: <br />1. By motion, approve Tentative Agreement relative to wages, hours, and other <br />terms and conditions of employment for employees in the San Mateo County <br />Firefighters International Association of Firefighters Local 2400 (IAFF) bargaining <br />unit, for the period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution amending the City's Classification and Salary and Wage <br />Plan for classifications represented by IAFF and the Fire Fighter Trainee <br />classification. <br />3. Adopt a resolution approving an appropriation amendment to the FY 2024- <br />2025 General Fund budget to increase expenditures in the amount of $531,850 <br />for increased salary and benefit costs related to the IAFF Agreement that begins <br />in Fiscal Year 2024-25
