REV: 08-07-24 VR <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Pursuant to the terms of this Agreement and blanket purchase orders entered into <br />between Consultant and City for ordering consistent with the terms of this Agreement, <br />City will have the right to purchase audio visual materials (audiobooks, DVDs, and CDs) <br />for its library collection, shelf ready cataloging and processing services, and customized <br />collection development services such as customized standing order collections, pre- <br />selected carts, and Opening Day collections, as needed. <br />When the City places orders from Consultant, all materials must be delivered F.O.B, <br />Redwood City, CA, USA, freight prepaid. If express or 2-day air services are requested <br />for a specific order. The City is charged shipping fees. <br />Library materials provided by Consultant must comply with current copyright and <br />intellectual property laws and Consultant must have a valid license or distribution <br />agreement, to the extent required by the copyright owner, for the sale of such materials <br />to City. <br />Consultant will provide customer service which includes inventory, ordering access, and <br />supplying materials in a timely manner to the City per the following specifications: <br />Unlimited accounts for online ordering, fully integrated with III Sierra integrated <br />library system and compliant with Edifact standard, as well as online ordering <br />through Consultant’s website <br />10 day fulfillment time from date of order to shipment for materials in inventory, <br />including processing <br />Separation of invoices by order account <br />Provide access to a robust inventory of non-English materials <br />Consultant will provide customized lists of materials for the City’s consideration at no <br />charge per the following specifications: <br />Customized Standing Order lists in the form of prepopulated order carts, including <br />materials in advance of street date, for review by library staff before orders are <br />placed <br />Customized opening day collection selection lists as requested by City <br />Consultant will provide shelf-ready cataloging and processing of audiobooks, CDs, and <br />DVDs based on the following specifications: <br />Provide full MARC 21, Level K or higher, records for all items, including pre- <br />publication materials, from OCLC. Include customization to the specifications of <br />the Library Director or her/his designee, including item level 949 fields. Provide <br />ability to overlay full records over brief acquisition records in III Siera ILS. <br />Assign Dewey Decimal System call number and customized spine label cuttering <br />to specifications of the Library Director or her/his designee <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.123/Midwest Tapes LLC (Page 11 of 13)
