Where an exception is authorized, the <br />performance of any conditions imposed in connection therewith may be secured by such <br />guarantee as may reasonably be deemed necessary by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Article VIII – Improvement Construction <br />Sec. 30.46. – IMPROVEMENT PLANS: <br />A. General requirements. <br />1. Prior to the approval of a final map or parcel map, the subdivider shall receive City <br />Engineer approval of an improvement plan showing subdivision improvements <br />specified in Article VII. <br />2. Improvement plans shall be prepared under the direction of and signed by a <br />registered civil engineer licensed by the state of California. <br />3. The form and content of improvement plans shall conform to the conditions of <br />approval and to the City Engineering Standards, plans, and specifications and <br />approved exceptions thereto. <br />B. Supplemental calculations. <br />1. Engineering calculations, bond or other security estimates, and any structural <br />calculations as required by the City Engineer shall be submitted with the <br />improvement plans. <br />2. All calculations shall be legible, systematic, signed and dated by a registered civil <br />engineer licensed by the state of California and in a form approved by the City <br />Engineer. All preliminary and final calculations shall be clearly noted as such when <br />submitted and shall be submitted per the requirements of the California Business <br />and Professions Code Sections 6735 and 8760. <br /> <br />C. City Engineer review. <br /> <br />1. The subdivider shall submit the improvement plans, tentative map or tentative <br />parcel map with annotated conditions of approval, associated calculations, reports, <br />and estimates to the City Engineer for review, in accordance with the applicant <br />submittal checklist as established by the City Engineer, along with an application and <br />all associated fees. Plans shall be accompanied by approvals from all outside <br />governmental agencies and service providers.
