City shall in all matters relating to the collection, transportation and disposal of the Acceptable Waste comply with all Applicable Laws. Special Waste Profile. The City warrants that it has sufficient knowledge and information to ensure that the Special Waste Profile provided is true and correct at the time of tender of every load of Special Waste and that each load of Special Waste tendered for management by Contractor (1) shall be fully and precisely described in a Special Waste Profile; (2) shall conform to the information provided in the Special Waste Profile; and (3) shall not contain any hazardous waste or Unacceptable Waste. Contractor shall at no time take ownership of Special Waste but shall dispose of or recycle the Special Waste in a lawful manner. Contractor’s price shall include the cost to dispose of or recycle the Special Waste, and Contractor shall be responsible for such costs. Contractor shall obtain and shall continue to maintain for the duration of the Agreement all license(s) and permit(s) required by law for any work under this Agreement. II. Payment Terms The method of payment shall be on a per tonnage basis. The rate per ton to be paid for less or more than one (1) ton shall be prorated by the actual weight of material disposed. The City will pay for as-needed, actual items disposed at the landfill at prices indicated below. Item Unit of Measure Unit Price Soil (non-hazardous) Per Ton $33.00/Ton Mixed construction and demolition waste Per Ton $77.25/Ton Invoices shall contain the price per ton, total tons, and total price information. Contractor will submit monthly invoices to: Public Works Services Department, Attn: Public Works Superintendent, Wastewater, 1400 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063.
