REV: 08-28-24 LF <br />or (b) waste that is not acceptable under Applicable Laws for transportation to, <br />storage at, disposal by or processing at the applicable facility. City shall in all <br />matters relating to the collection, transportation and disposal of the Acceptable <br />Waste comply with all Applicable Laws. <br />Special Waste Profile. The City warrants that it has sufficient knowledge and <br />information to ensure that the Special Waste Profile provided is true and correct at <br />the time of tender of every load of Special Waste and that each load of Special <br />Waste tendered for management by Contractor (1) shall be fully and precisely <br />described in a Special Waste Profile; (2) shall conform to the information provided <br />in the Special Waste Profile; and (3) shall not contain any hazardous waste or <br />Unacceptable Waste. <br />Contractor shall at no time take ownership of Special Waste but shall dispose of <br />or recycle the Special Waste in a lawful manner. Contractor’s price shall include <br />the cost to dispose of or recycle the Special Waste, and Contractor shall be <br />responsible for such costs. <br />Contractor shall obtain and shall continue to maintain for the duration of the <br />Agreement all license(s) and permit(s) required by law for any work under this <br />Agreement. <br />II. Payment Terms <br />The method of payment shall be on a per tonnage basis. The rate per ton to be paid for <br />less or more than one (1) ton shall be prorated by the actual weight of material disposed. <br />The City will pay for as-needed, actual items disposed at the landfill at prices indicated <br />below. <br />Item Unit of Measure Unit Price <br />Soil (non-hazardous) Per Ton $33.00/Ton <br />Mixed construction and demolition waste Per Ton $77.25/Ton <br />Invoices shall contain the price per ton, total tons, and total price information. Contractor <br />will submit monthly invoices to: Public Works Services Department, Attn: Public Works <br />Superintendent, Wastewater, 1400 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063.
