Youth Advisory Board 2024 <br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />Parties: <br />-Redwood City Police Activities League - Lead: Tito Alvarez, PACE Program Manager <br />-Redwood City Together - Lead: Ben Juarez-Garcia, Public Relations Specialist <br />1. Purpose: <br />This memorandum of understanding (“MOU”) describes a commitment by Redwood City Together <br />to implement a 12-month program to support the PACE Advisory Board (PAB) Empowerment <br />Program for Redwood City/North Fair Oaks youth. <br />Program Goal: <br />The goal of this partnership is to collaboratively empower and engage local teens by providing <br />meaningful experiences, fostering community involvement, and contributing to the betterment of <br />Redwood City/North Fair Oaks. <br />Term: <br />The term of this MOU is for 12 months, from January 2024 to December 2024. <br />Meeting Structure: <br />Meeting Frequency: Monthly meetings from January to December <br />Duration: On a recurring date and time agreed upon by all parties meetings will be a <br />duration of approximately 1.5 hours per session. <br />Hosting: Each organization (Redwood City Police Activities League, Redwood City <br />Together, Siena Youth Center, and Friends for Youth) will host 3 meeting sessions. <br />Program Review Structure: <br />Each organization will convene at specified intervals throughout the program to assess its <br />effectiveness and determine potential enhancements to better support the participating youth: <br />Kick-off meeting with PAB January 2024 <br />Mid-year check-in June 2024 <br />End-of-program debrief December 2024 <br />Scope of Work: <br />Each Organization in support of the PACE Advisory Board agree to complete all activities <br />described below through December 2024: <br />-Outreach and Recruitment: Conduct targeted outreach for 2 youth participants total of <br />8, ensuring a diverse and inclusive representation in the PAB program. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.166/Redwood City Police Activities League (PAB MOU) (Page 1 of 3)
