Housing for the Elderly, nNursing homes, rest homes, residential care <br />facilities (General, Senior, and Small), and skilled nursing facilities as defined <br />by Article 2, Section 2.2 of the Redwood City Zoning Code; <br />f. Schools, public and private, as defined by Article 2, Section 2.2 of the <br />Redwood City Zoning Code; and; <br />g. Property eligible for the California Property Tax Welfare Exemption in that it <br />is (1) used exclusively for charitable purposes, and (2) owned or held in trust <br />by nonprofit organizations operating for those purposes and that have a <br />current tax exempt letter from the Internal Revenue Service or the Franchise <br />Tax Board. <br />11. A), <br />7-24-23) <br />----------------------------------------------------------- <br />Article 30 - OFF-STREET PARKING AND LOADING[1] <br /> <br />[Only changes are to 30.4 and 30.5] <br />30.4 - Required Number of Parking Spaces—Mixed-Use Zoning Districts. <br />A. Applicability. The required number of parking spaces set forth in Section 30.5 (Required Number <br />of Parking Spaces—Outside of the Downtown Parking Zone and Mixed-Use Zoning Districts) shall <br />apply to all development within mixed-use districts outside of the Downtown Parking Zone unless <br />otherwise set forth in this Section. Whenever the requirements, standards, regulations, or other <br />provisions of this section conflict with the requirements, standards, regulations or other <br />provisions set forth in Section 30.5, the requirements, standards, regulations, or other provisions <br />in this Subsection, 30.4 shall govern. <br />B. Residential Parking Spaces Required. For any residential development located in a mixed-use <br />district, one (1) space is required for every dwelling unit, except for Single Room Occupancy <br />Facilities, for which no parking is required, and for Group Homes, for which one half (0.5) space is <br />required for every bedroom. Group Homes shall have at minimum one space and where a <br />fractional space would be required, the number of spaces provided shall be rounded down (e.g. <br />for a Group Home with 5 bedrooms, 2 spaces shall be provided). Tandem parking is permitted if <br />the tandem spaces serve the same dwelling unit. <br />C. Bicycle Parking Required. The required number of bicycle parking spaces shall be determined as <br />set forth in the underlying zoning district as provided in Sections 53.6, 54.6, and 55.8 of the Zoning <br />Code. <br />D. Live/Work Parking Spaces Required. For any development located in a mixed-use district, parking <br />spaces for live/work units shall be required as follows: <br />1. Resident Parking. One (1) space per live/work unit. <br />2. Client Parking. One (1) space per one thousand (1,000) square feet of nonresidential floor <br />area.
