The
significant earthquakes that occur in the Bay Area are generally associated with crustal movement along well-defined,
active fault zones of the San Andreas Fault system, which trends in a northwesterly direction. Seismic hazards impacts
(i.e., impacts related to surface rupture, ground shaking, differential settlement, landslides, liquefaction, and lateral
spreading) were discussed in the DTPP EIR and Plan-Wide Amendments SEIR, and they were identified as less-than-
significant impacts and adequately mitigated by the regulatory framework and applicable local policies.
The project component site is located approximately 3.75 miles northeast of the San Andreas Fault. Two other major
active faults in the area are the Hayward Fault, located more than 10 miles from the project component site, and the
San Gregorio-Seal Cove Fault, located approximately 14.75 miles from the project component site (DTPP program
EIR p. 16-1). The project component site is not within an Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zone (DTPP program EIR
p. 16-1); therefore, there is no known potential for fault rupture on the site.
ATTY/RESO.0074/CC RESO 847 WOODSIDE (CEQA) - EXHIBIT 1 - CEQA CONSISTENCY CHECKLIST
REV: 10-23-24 VR
