ATTY/RESO.0086/CC RESO APPROPRIATING CERTAIN RCPOA FUNDS <br />REV: 11-20-24 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. ____ <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY APPROVING AN APPROPRIATION AMENDMENT TO THE FY <br />2024-2025 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO INCREASE EXPENDITURES <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF $705,000 FOR INCREASED SALARY AND <br />BENEFIT COSTS RELATED TO THE REDWOOD CITY POLICE <br />OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION SUCCESSOR MEMORANDUM OF <br />UNDERSTANDING AND UNREPRESENTED POLICE OFFICER <br />TRAINEE CLASSIFICATION THAT BEGIN IN FY 2024-25 <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br />that change or modify the City’s existing and approved budgets; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached with the Redwood City Police <br />Officers Association for the period of August 26, 2024, through August 29, 2027, and <br />there is a proposed salary range increase for unrepresented Police Officer Trainee <br />classification, that has financial impacts on the FY 2024-25 budget. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The following stated amounts are hereby appropriated for specific <br />purposes: <br />Summary of Recommended Budget Changes <br />By Fund Type <br />Fund Expenditures <br />General Fund $705,000 <br />TOTAL $705,000 <br />2.This Council does hereby establish the appropriation revisions for Fiscal <br />Year 2024-2025. <br />3.The resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. <br />* * * <br />16264
