Page 4 of 5 <br />City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.org <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW <br /> <br />The AB 602 requirement for a Public Hearing to adopt the Annual Parks and Transportation Impact Fee <br />Project Lists by proposed resolution is not considered a project under Public Resources Code <br />Section 21605 and CEQA Guidelines Section 15378 as the amendments will not result in a direct physical <br />change in the environment or a reasonably foreseeable indirect change on the environment. In addition, <br />the proposed resolutions are exempt under CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) as it can be seen with <br />certainty that there is no possibility of causing a significant effect on the environment. When and if <br />specific park and transportation projects are developed and proposed for implementation, the <br />environmental impacts of such projects will be evaluated in accordance with CEQA and City practice. <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> <br />On November 27, 2024 (at least 10 days before the public hearing), the City published notice, pursuant to <br />Government Code section 66002, of the date, time, and place of a public hearing, with a statement that <br />the City Council would be considering whether to adopt the updated Parks Impact Fee and Transportation <br />Impact Fee Project Lists. Additionally, as required by law, the notice was provided to San Mateo County, <br />San Carlos, and Belmont and those individuals who specifically requested notification. <br />The Parks and Transportation Capital Improvement Project Lists were also made available on the City’s <br />website and at the City Clerk’s Office. <br />Public notification was also achieved by posting the agenda, with the agenda items being listed, at least <br />72 hours prior to the meeting. <br /> <br />ALTERNATIVES <br /> <br />The City Council may direct staff to make modifications to the Parks Impact Fee Project List and/or the <br />Transportation Impact Fee Project List. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />Attachment A – Parks Impact Fee Project List <br />Attachment B – Transportation Impact Fee Project List <br />Attachment C – Resolution adopting the Parks Impact Fee Project List <br />Attachment D – Resolution adopting the Transportation Impact Fee Project List <br /> <br /> <br />7.A. - Page 4 of 27 <br />40
