ATTY/RESO.0089/CC RESO AMENDING CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY AND WAGE PLAN FY 24-25 (HOUSING MANAGEMENT ANALYST) <br />REV: 12-05-24 MI <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />RESOLUTION NO._____ <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY 1) AMENDING THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY’S CLASSIFICATION <br />AND SALARY AND WAGE PLAN TO ESTABLISH A NEW <br />CLASSIFICATION OF HOUSING MANAGEMENT ANALYST I/II AND <br />AMENDING THE SALARY RANGES FOR THE CONFIDENTIAL <br />EMPLOYEE GROUP AND X151 OFFICE CLERICAL LEVEL II <br />CLASSIFICATIONS; AND 2) AMENDING THE ADOPTED FISCAL YEAR <br />2024-25 BUDGET TO UPDATE THE FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT <br />EMPLOYEE TABLE FOR THE CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that a new job description of Housing <br />Management Analyst I/II with salary set the same as Management Analyst I/II be <br />established to meet the current and future operational needs for the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the classification specifications as described in Exhibit “A” were <br />prepared by Human Resources staff in consultation with department management, to <br />ensure the foreseeable needs of the organization were met; and <br />WHEREAS, Human Resources staff met and conferred with the Redwood City <br />Management Employees Association, and reached agreement on the proposed job <br />description as described in Exhibit “A”; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that confidential employees and <br />classifications be provided a three percent (3%) cost-of-living adjustment effective <br />December 16, 2024, and the top of the salary range for the classification of X151 Office <br />Clerical Level II be increased from sixty-five dollars ($65.00) per hour to eighty dollars <br />($80.00) per hour effective December 16, 2024, as listed in Exhibit “B”; and <br />WHEREAS, during the course of a fiscal year, the City Council may take actions <br />that change or modify the City’s existing and approved budgets; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends the changes to the Authorized Full-Time Equivalent <br />Employee Table for City Manager’s Office in the FY 2024-25 Adopted Budget, as listed <br />in Exhibit “C”, to include: <br />Removing 2.0 FTE Management Analyst II <br />Adding 2.0 FTE for Housing Management Analyst II <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />16268
