REV: 10-11-24 LF <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant will provide all-inclusive use of its HelpNow Academic Support Suite. <br />The HelpNow Academic Support Suite includes; (1) Expert Help Center; (2) The Adult <br />Learning Center; (3) The Study Center; & (4) The Collaboration Center. The HelpNow <br />Academic Support Suite is accessible via web-based and mobile application platforms. <br />(1) The Expert Help Center <br />LIVE ON-DEMAND TUTORING: City customers will receive live, on-demand <br />homework help from Consultant’s certified tutors. Tutors and City customers <br />communicate in real time through the Consultant’s online classroom. Tutoring <br />sessions are recorded for later review by City customers. <br />o Access to live on-demand tutoring is available 10 hours per day, 7 days a <br />week. All other service elements are available 24 hours per day, 7 days a <br />week (i.e. Writing Lab; Resume Writing Lab; Test Center; Flashbulb library; <br />MEET service, Brainwave service; and various elements in the Adult <br />Learning Center). The City may set the hours during the day to make live <br />on-demand tutoring available. <br />o MULTIPLE LANGUAGES SUPPORTED. Consultant will provide tutoring in <br />Spanish from U.S.-based Spanish-speaking tutors. Additional language <br />support will be available upon request. Our whiteboard also features an AI- <br />based translator that allows students and tutors to communicate in any <br />language. <br />ONLINE WRITING LAB: Consultant will provide asynchronous online writing <br />assistance to City customers supporting City customers during all phases of the <br />writing process. City customers will have the option of either submitting papers to <br />Consultant’s Asynchronous Writing Lab or connecting with a live online writing <br />expert. <br />o Asynchronous Writing Lab: City customers submit their writing online <br />through Consultant’s secure messaging service. Within 24 hours, <br />Consultant’s writing specialists return the paper along with a detailed <br />analysis and a customized analytic rubric. <br />o Live Writing Lab: City customers may receive live, online one-to-one writing <br />assistance from one of Consultant’s writing experts. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.188/Brainfuse, LLC (Brainfuse, LLC 2024) (Page 12 of 15)
