Proposed Schedule of Improvement for 1200 Arguello Street: <br />YEAR <br />IMPROVEMENT <br />2025-2026 <br />Exterior Focus <br />• Exterior Paint: Repaint the exterior using historically accurate colors to <br />restore historically original appearance. <br />• Masonry Repair: Repoint brickwork or mortar, repair siding, address cracks <br />or damage. <br />• Porches and Trim: Repair or restore porches, and decorative trim elements. <br />2027 - 2028 <br />Assessment and Stabilization <br />• Professional Assessment: Hire a qualified architect to conduct a full <br />assessment of the home's condition. They'll identify areas of deterioration <br />and create a prioritized action plan. <br />• Structural Repairs: Address foundation issues, failing support beams, <br />compromised roofing elements, etc. <br />• Window and Door Assessment: Evaluate the condition of windows and <br />doors. If necessary, repair/replace to maintain the historic character. <br />2029-2030 <br />Interior Updates <br />• Mechanical Systems Upgrade: Update/Maintain electrical, plumbing and <br />HVAC systems if outdated or inefficient.
