Adopt a resolution approving an exception to the Public Employees’ <br />Pension Reform Act 180-day waiting period and appointing retired <br />annuitant Ramoth Iverson as Interim Fire Chief effective January 20, <br />2025, or upon CalPERS approval to hire, whichever is later; and <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving an exception to the Public Employees’ <br />Pension Reform Act 180-day waiting period and appointing retired <br />annuitant Jacqueline Barberini to perform critical extra help Public <br />Safety Communications Dispatcher duties effective January 14, 2025, <br />or upon CalPERS approval to hire, whichever is later.
