DRAFTSan Mateo County Transportation Authority Project Attribution Requirements <br />All project sponsors, and co-sponsors, are required to demonstrate compliance with the TA’s <br />attribution and signage requirements as a mandatory condition of the allocation of Measure A <br />or Measure W transportation sales tax funds. Project sponsors are encouraged to work with TA <br />staff to ensure project attribution meets TA requirements. TA Logos and the attribution <br />templates shown below can be downloaded here: <br />Public Communications <br />All press releases, project fact sheets, websites, flyers, brochures, posters, blogs or editorials <br />and any other communication material produced for a funded project or program, regardless of <br />the source of funding for the materials, shall include the following logo and text, in a prominent <br />location: <br />This project/program was made possible by local transportation sales tax dollars provided by <br />the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. <br />In the event certain public communications materials are unable to incorporate this language, <br />such as a postcard, the Sponsor shall work with the TA to develop an alternative meeting the <br />intent of the project attribution requirements. <br />Plans, Studies and Reports <br />All project related plans, specifications, studies and reports funded by the TA shall, on the <br />credits or attribution page, include the following TA logo and text in a prominent location: <br />The plan/study/report was funded by a grant of local transportation sales tax dollars from the <br />San Mateo County Transportation Authority. <br />Project Construction <br />All construction projects must display a construction sign with the following items: <br />o The official TA logo, the same size as other official logos appearing on the sign. <br />o The text "Your local transportation sales tax dollars at work" <br />Below is an example of an acceptable construction sign. <br />Construction Example 1 <br />6.C. - Page 43 of 44 <br />61
