Learn why this is important <br />Council Members: <br />This is to register a protest against the proposed solid waste rate increases. We feel the increases are <br />uncalled for, or at the very least, excessive. This is especially true when the largest rate increase is for <br />the smallest container size. <br />We are also protesting the requirement that written protests by a majority of parcels that receive solid <br />waste services must be received to prevent the increase from being put into effect. This is an obvious <br />move to justify allowing the increase as it is highly unlikely that the required number of written protests will <br />be received. <br />The owners of the parcel are Alan and Penny Wortman.
