REV: 10-04-24 LF <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall perform a tree inventory upon direction from the Right-of-Way Public <br />Works Superintendent or designee (“City Staff”) of all trees, planting sites, and stumps in <br />the City that are located in the right-of-way, which includes, but is not limited to, parks, <br />medians, planter strips, and City buildings. <br />Collection Software Setup <br />•Consultant will schedule an online meeting to discuss inventory attributes to be <br />collected. <br />•At that time Consultant shall request from City Staff GIS data and imagery and set- <br />up field computers used for data collection. <br />Field Kickoff Meeting <br />After contract execution, and software setup, the Consultant shall schedule a field kick- <br />off meeting with City Staff to discuss: <br />•Inventory safety <br />•Communication procedures <br />•Project expectations and milestones <br />•Assess a few trees with City Staff to ensure consistent assessment results <br />•Consultant shall request and clarify information needed from City Staff and suggest <br />alternative files if not available <br />Individual Tree Inspection Process <br />•Consultant shall conduct the tree inventory supervised or managed by an ISA <br />Certified Arborist (with current certification) walking by each tree and inspecting <br />the tree from the ground in order to update and record the data fields specified in <br />this Agreement. <br />•Consultant shall use computers to collect inventory data. <br />Data Fields <br />Consultant shall update the attributes listed below in the City’s existing TreeKeeper <br />system database so that any updates are merged with the existing records for trees, <br />planting sites, and stumps, which includes previous work order history. After the tree <br />inventory, all information on TreeKeeper shall be stored in one layer, retaining any and <br />all work order history. Work order history shall never be deleted. Any data fields not <br />listed below should not be updated in TreeKeeper, and any existing data in those fields <br />should be cleared. <br />•Species - Identify trees by genus and species using both botanical and common <br />names, and by cultivars where appropriate <br />o Includes Planting (Vacant) Sites and Stumps <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.182/Davey Resource Group, Inc.
