__________________________________________________________________________________________ <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD/ August 26, 2024 <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING MINUTES PAGE 10 <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 69 <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution identifying a list of paving projects for Fiscal Year 2024-25 funded by <br />SB 1: the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, in accordance with the Streets and <br />Highways Code for the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account. <br />CEQA: <br />This is not a project under California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br />Motion and second, Espinoza-Garnica and Martinez Saballos, to adopt a resolution <br />identifying a list of paving projects for Fiscal Year 2024-25 funded by SB 1: The Road <br />Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, in accordance with the Streets and Highways <br />Code for the Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account. <br />The motion passed unanimously by roll call vote. <br />9.MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br />9.A. Designate Voting Delegate and Alternate to the League of California Cities (CalCities) <br />Annual Conference October 16-18, 2024 <br />Vice Mayor Espinoza-Garnica was designated as the Voting Delegate, and Council <br />Member Sturken was designated as the Voting Delegate Alternate. <br />9.B. City Council Member Report of Meetings and Conferences Attended <br />A.City Council Report of Meeting/Conference Attendance <br />Council member Howard reported on the August 25 neighborhood cleanup <br />hosted by Little Green A Plant Bar, in collaboration with Redwood City Economic <br />Development Manager Amanda Anthony. Council member Howard also <br />announced the Annual Coastal Cleanup on September 21 – more information can <br />be found on the City’s website. <br />Council member Eakin reported on the August 21 CCAG Resources Management <br />and Climate Protection (RMCP) committee meeting. <br />9.C. City Council Committee Reports <br />A.Climate Action Sub-Committee – Vice Mayor Espinoza-Garnica gave an update. <br />B.101/84 Project Ad Hoc Committee – Council Member Howard gave an update. <br />9.D.
