VII. COMMUNICATIONS AMONG <br />CITY COUNCILMEMBERS <br />45 <br />A. To support constructive governance, City Councilmembers <br />will strive to: <br />1.Demonstrate mutual respect by actively listening, learning, <br />and keeping an open mind. <br />2.Encourage healthy debates and discussion, disagree <br />respectfully, and seek outcomes for the greater good. <br />3.Give others the benefit of the doubt, assume others are acting <br />with positive intent and act with positive intent themselves. <br />4.Support decisions of the City Council as a whole. <br />5.Be inquisitive, collaborative, and support the leadership <br />development for all Councilmembers.
