Currently, customers can view their water usage
online, calculate water budgets, and receive leak notifications through a self-service customer water use
portal known as Dropcountr. This online portal helps answer many common customer questions regarding
water use patterns without the need to contact City staff. Staff has determined this portal continues to
meet the needs of the City by offering an easy-to-use interface for customers to access water use
information.
An agreement with Dropcountr, Inc. (“Dropcountr”) was approved by the City Manager and executed on
April 6, 2023 to provide this water use portal. On April 5, 2024, the initial agreement with Dropcountr
expired. PWS and Dropcountr have continued to work together to ensure uninterrupted services since
April 6, 2024 while the parties negotiated this agreement.
6.F. - Page 1 of 33
75
