From:Dori Ben-David
To:publiccomment
Cc:Andy Johnston
Subject:Cell tower public comment
Date:Monday, February 10, 2025 4:55:43 PM
You don't often get email from dori@bendavidfp.com. Learn why this is important
Hello members of the City Council,
Thank you for your discussion of the placement of cell towers in our city. My wife and I own
property on Cleveland Street and count on that income as an investment for ourselves and our
sons and daughter. Cell tower placement near population centers have not been proven to be
safe and in addition to the health risks, cell towers near homes and schools reduce property
values.
We are deeply concerned to hear that the city is allowing Verizon (via Crown Castle) to install
wireless facilities without oversight about the location and number of facilities.
We request that you update your wireless ordinance as other cities have immediately.
We are ggrateful for your service to our community.
Sincerely,
Andy and Dori Johnston
