ATTY/RESO.0014/CC RESO AMENDING SUMMARY OF COMPENSATION & TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT (EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT) <br />REV: 02-27-25 MI <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 16290 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY AMENDING THE SUMMARY OF COMPENSATION AND TERMS <br />OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT <br />EMPLOYEE GROUP EFFECTIVE MARCH 10, 2025 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to its authority, the Council of the City of Redwood City <br />periodically determines whether to make adjustments to the salary and benefits plan for <br />Appointed and Executive Management classifications; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends amending the Summary of Compensation and <br />Terms of Employment for the Executive Management Employee Group, attached as <br />Exhibit A, including amendments adding language clarifying how sick leave can be used <br />as provided in Government Code Section 12945.8, and amending the due date to make <br />an irrevocable election in regards to annual sick leave cash out, and for the addition of <br />Bilingual Premium for those qualified within classifications of Fire Chief, Police Chief, and <br />Police Captain. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1.The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br />incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br />2. The Summary of Compensation and Terms of Employment for the <br />Executive Management Employee Group shall be amended and retitled as set forth in <br />Exhibit A. <br />3.This resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. <br />* * *
